My photography often captures traces and evidence of human presence when people themselves are absent.

I often see and interpret the world around me in terms of shapes, textures, colours and forms, as in abstract art.

These images were photographed late at night as the walls of a dark and still room were transformed into a canvas.

Light, darkness, glimmers of colours, lines, shapes, forms- all moved from the street into the room. Existing and shifting as movement took place through the light of the night.

As unexpected and unintentional abstracts, these photographs reveal a temporary existence. A glimpse, if you will, of a presence.
