DISSONANCE

Dissonance is inspired by the discomfort felt when realizing the loved ocean that is thought of as pristine, beautiful and full of life is also a dumping ground for man-made waste. This photographic series is a celebration and appreciation of what we have and a reminder that we all need to change if we don’t want to lose it.

The artwork in this exhibit highlights this tension by presenting ocean debris, collected by the artist along the shores of the Sunshine Coast and re-imagined into sculpture and photography.
