LET THE DAYS SHINE

Let the Days Shine is a tribute to the innate human longing for happiness and the collective, trans-formative power of joy. This mixed media sculptural series embarks on a celebration of the beauty and wonder within our shared moments, while exploring the enduring resilience and hope that define the human spirit. At its heart, these sculptures pay homage to the timeless and universal act of offering flowers – a gesture that transcends boundaries and languages, symbolizing the deepest expressions of love, affection and gratitude.

To convey the emotions and sentiments that define human experiences, the artist deconstructed flower photographs and combined the imagery with materials commonly found in the crafting of both real and artificial floral bouquets. The incorporation of chains into this collection suggests a sense of wearability reminiscent of adorning oneself with cherished jewellery, much the same as “wearing” and showing emotions.
